My Professional Camera Equipment Kit.
Having the proper camera equipment is crucial for a professional photographer that focuses on taking pictures of food, products, people, interiors, drinks, and video to be able to give clients high-quality images and videos. To assist me in achieving this, I have gathered a number of pro Canon camera bodies throughout the years. This required me to make lifestyle compromises, but in the long run it was paid off.
The ability to take still photos and videos with the same camera is one of my camera equipment most crucial features. In order to achieve the best possible still image quality and video capabilities, I utilise the Canon 5D Mark IV and the Canon R5C. Having two cameras also enables me to have a backup or B-roll camera for video shoots, allowing me to generate high-quality videos or have two sets going at once for extra content for my clients.
The lenses I employ, together with the cameras I use, are essential for obtaining the ideal feel and style for each project. While the 70-200mm L IS MK2 lens is ideal for most shoots, including close-ups of people or food photography, the 24-70mm MK2 L zoom lens is a versatile workhorse that is terrific for taking a wide variety of shots. The 100mm macro lens is ideal for taking close-up pictures of food or other objects, while the 90mm tilt-shift lens is fantastic for food, interiors or architecture.
When it comes to editing, I like to utilise Capture One Pro for raw capture and tether to my iMac at all times for a significant, in-depth preview of each photo. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing because it has a lot of features that help me make videos of a high standard. Whether the video will be used for broadcast television, a website, or social media, I always bear in mind the intended function of the video while exporting.
Although it's crucial to have the most up-to-date camera equipment and editing software, it's also critical to keep in mind that these are only tools. The ability and originality of the photographer are the most crucial components of photography and videographer. Every camera and editing software may be used to produce high quality photos and videos that will impress clients if technical know-how and creative vision are combined in the appropriate proportions.
