Travel Photography – A Great Teacher
As a professional photographer specialising in food, portrait, product, interiors, and lifestyle photography, I’ve found that travel photography pushes my skills in unexpected ways. With about 50% of my work now in video production, I’m constantly refining my approach to capturing compelling visuals on the go.
Shooting people portraits in the street requires quick thinking, an intuitive understanding of lighting, and the ability to adjust your camera setup instantly. Every location presents new challenges, but that’s what makes it such a great teacher.
I’ve put together a short video documentary from my latest trip, showcasing the gear I used and the stunning locations I explored in Barcelona and Morocco. Whether capturing the energy of a bustling medina or the serene beauty of coastal light, every frame tells a story.
If you love photography, travel is one of the best ways to sharpen your craft. So grab your camera, embrace the unpredictability, and get out there!
